3 brother authors

Spreading laughter one person at a time.

About Us

The men behind the words

We are 3 brothers who’ve grown up poor together, often needing to rely on our wits to stay sane in an often unsafe, chaotic and dysfunctional environment.

Sticking closely together throughout our childhood, things like cartoons, outdoor adventures (such as fishing, hiking, and some sports) kept us active.

Indoors, we typically turned to TV’s Saturday morning cartoons for laughter in an often, ‘not-so-happy’, overcrowded and argumentative, often violent home.  Taken together, all of these experiences shaped our interests and creative capacities.

To date, we write material aimed at young adults - through early or late adulthood. Our work is anticipated to resonate with people looking to laugh and who may have experienced the hilarity of 80’s style cartoons and storytelling.

One-by-one, the three of us migrated to an online poetry site where we developed and experimented with various writing projects. We received a lot of online feedback, questions and encouragement to create books for our work.

Eventually, we acquired a steady following on that site (Allpoetry.com), developing works of Poetry (romance, nature, social commentary and ‘Battle-style’ answer-back/challenge poetry, such as, “The THINKERz Word Warz.

We later decide to gather our work and self-publish our main-stays, cartoon animation-style Book writing, such as “Little Justice”, “Noye’s Story” series and “Fantastic Lore” series, targeting preteen - to - Adult audiences.

I was born in upstate New York. I’m one of a family of many brothers and sisters; I fall nearly in the middle! As a child, I’ve always been pretty inspired by people who were creative and artistic. The late, Walt Disney, Dr. Seuss, Bob Ross, and Stan Lee, each we’re huge impacts in my creative life

I grew up in a large family and when I was about 11 years old I developed a love of comic books and drawing. Then in my early teens, I created several comic strips and characters that at the time, I only shared with family and friends in my High School days.

Greetings to you all, whoever you may be and wherever you may reside. I am your friendly neighborhood author. I hope you don't mind; I'd like to share a bit of myself with you all. Where do I start? Oh yeah—I found that writing simply allows me to share thoughts that I may want to say out loud, but maybe or have been hesitant to share. When these words germinate in my head, they are aching to be released. The feeling of bringing words to life so to speak, gives me a level of euphoria that I never realized I could have.

In my spare time...

...as an adult I’ve continued to try and create that which I feel inspired by; whether it’s a drawing, painting, or writing. I currently reside in the south, along with my wife, and our dog. We have two children—now, adult women who no longer are living with us, although each of them still lives relatively close by.

I enjoy music, martial arts, and definitely art of all types, a love of nature, and reading. I’ve always felt inspired by people. Whether they’re famous or not. So, my hope is to be an inspiration, even if only to one person.

As I grew older, married, and settled down...

...with my new family, I strayed from drawing and started an early career in Human Services. Then by 2005, I was going through a life change and started writing again, joining an online poetry forum with my 2 brothers, Richard and Jerome. We wrote a lot of poetry together and since then, I’ve co-authored at least 2 books with Richard. After writing there for a while, I heard about, and then I entered a writing competition. That was ultimately what lead to me writing my first solo book in 2008, “Noye’s Story: A Fly On The Wall”.

I continue to work...

...in Human Services and I’m currently still doing that work—which involves writing quality assurance plans, doing quality checks, investigative reports, and training staff (which was the only part of the job to date, that really fed into my creativity). But as recent as 2020, I began rewriting and re-editing some of our earlier works, including self-publishing more of our writings.

The liking of writing simply morphed into love...

...over the years. It is simply another mystic form of art. It is a way to capture feelings, good, bad, or indifferent; and then, share that art with others, in hopes that you may be able to make someone smile, cry, engage, breathe, or even live the dream that they themselves may have thought would never come true.

I want to take you on a journey...

...with my words. Hop on, strap that proverbial seatbelt on, and take this ride with me. And as I commonly say to folks, “If you like the art, quote a part!”
